DELIVERABLES

The project had four deliverables:

  • D1.1: Power sector modeling improvements in the WITCH model
  • D1.2: Interactions and joint applications between the WITCH and the SWITCH models
  • D2.1: Future prospects of renewables, CCS, and nuclear in the European Union and beyond
  • D3.1: Energy and climate scenarios in the global policy perspective

Six papers were extracted from the deliverables. Some of them are being further developed for publication on peer-reviewed journals and/or on the FEEM Working Papers series. The papers are the following:

PATHWAYS PAPERS

Two more papers from the EU-FP7 PATHWAYS project, co-authored by the Fellow, were finalized during the MERCURY project (hence they report the relevant acknowledgment) and appeared in a dedicated special issue on Technological Forecasting and Social Change, titled “Understanding transition pathways.
